This past Sunday was probably one of the most emotional weddings I have photographed in my 20+ years as a photographer. It was a joyous occasion, but also had an undertone of sorrow since the bride is in the fight of her life against cancer. Seeing both tears of joy and sadness it was something I've never experienced before. They are such a beautiful couple both inside and out. Only best wishes for a long and lovely future together.

Photography and weather is always a love hate relationship. If it's sunny, it's too sunny, when you want to shoot outside it snows. So all you can do is roll with the punches and hope for the best. And we definitely got the best with this gorgeous couple. While on location for an engagement shoot we were hit with rain out of the blue. But this lovely couple braved the weather and we managed to get some creative shots using the puddle reflections surrounding us. Rain or shine, we get the shot.
